Description: The Humanities program at Davidson was established in 1962 as a synthetic, interdisciplinary approach to liberal education that combined formal lectures and smaller discussion groups in a survey of key texts. It is offered to students as a two year long program that engages critically key texts and artifacts around a broader theme. As part of the program, students must design their own digital portfolios of their work over the course of the year.
